Insurance Options

At FOX AUTORENT we recognize that that our customers have a different concept of risk and recently we have introduced three options for you to choose from depending on your personal tastes. You can select your preferred option during the reservation process. By default, on the Internet we have selected the middle insurance option of €8 a day but you can select another option at any time.

Our clients can choose between three levels of insurance:

High Risk Option. No daily charge is made for CDW and TP protection (Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection), the CDW in this case is €900 per incident and the amount payable in the case of theft is €1200. An initial deposit of €400 will be blocked on your credit card and will be released if the car is returned in the same condition as received.

Standard Risk Option. A daily charge of €8 is made for each day of the rental period. This limits the CDW to €300 per incident and the amount payable in the case of theft is €500. An initial deposit of €400 will be blocked on your credit card and will be released if the car is returned in the same condition as received.

Low Risk Option. A daily charge of €16 is made for each day of the rental period. This limits the CDW to €200 per incident and the amount payable in the case of theft is €300. An initial deposit of €400 will be blocked on your credit card but will be released if the car is returned in the same condition as received.

An amount of €400 is blocked out on your card and unblocked at the end of the rental if no damage or loss has occurred.

FOX AUTORENT does not charge an extra premium for young drivers, those who are below the age of 25.
